I am a psychologist from Istanbul, based in London, England. I studied Psychology at Koc University, Istanbul and moved to London in 2005.

 

I earned my masters degree at Anna Freud Centre and University College London in Psychoanalytic Developmental Psychology and my PhD at Institute of Education on Developmental Psychology focusing on socio-emotional and behavioural development of young children in the context of volunteer work in residential care.

My academic studies have always been related to parenting in general, yet becoming a mother to a baby

girl in 2013 fuelled my interest in parenting practices, and encouraged me to study further focusing primarily on parenting.
